4+ years tutoring Science and Math Why I want to be a tutor: My love for mathematics and science began to blossom back in high school when I was introduced to physics. I remember feeling lost at first, but after a lot of hard work, the concepts started coming together. I really wish I would have sought out help in order to understand the concepts more readily. My hope and goal as a tutor is to help elucidate the concepts and present them in such a way that my student can grasp and understand them completely. I have tutored privately for 4 years while working on my undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and before leaving for medical school. My specializations are math and science. This includes math from prealgebra up to calculus 3, physics, chemistry and a vast variety of biological sciences. I challenge my students during the sessions, but provide support and through explanations so as not to overwhelm them.
