I am currently tutoring low-performing students, making non-readers into readers, volunteering in local libraries, enjoy the satisfaction of the accomplishment of making a non-reader into a competent reader, or improving one's reading and comprehension ability, give practice experience with the TAKS and STAARS testing samples. Give many handouts explaining the nature of the child's disability issues, give recommendations on what can be done about them, plus help aids for difficult behavior issues, what parents can do to help their children succeed, and when a professional may be needed. Explain the TPRI and what the results mean, what educational options may exist in the community.
