Daniel R.
Private tutor in El Paso, TX
Education
I am a recent graduate with a BS in Mathematics with a concentration in Physics as well as a minor in secondary education from the University of Texas at El Paso.
Experience
As far as experience, I was a member of a student organization known as FEMaS, (Future Educators of Math and Science), that is involved in providing enchrichment and fun activities to students, ( mainly at the middle school and elementary levels), that focuses on sparking, enriching and hopfully maintaining young student's interests in mathematics and science. I decided to take up tutoring because I was not really great at math but I loved it so much that I devoted countless hours into understanding the material; therefore, I really understand how difficult and intimidating it could be and I know that I can help many students overcome....dare I say it again......MATHEMATICS and PHYSICS :)

Hobbies
Leave it up to a math and science major to love SYFY, Stargate SG1 and Atlantis to be more specific as well as many other syfy movies. I don't really have time for hobbies but do love sports and grew up active in year-round sports,(Football, Wrestling, Basketball, track-n-field, and Band,(Drumming)), so I really understand the demand on young student atheletes and look forward to helping out. During my progress as a student and a future educator, I've also acquired a passion in cognitive structures and progression, (how minds structure data for purposes of learning through developmental years of our lives). I understand not everybody is as interested in these subjects as I am so weather or not you're a math and, or physic enthusiast, I'm sure I could be of great assistance both for those that crave a deeper understanding as well as those that just need a modest grasp to for successful completion.
